Nigel Cabourn Officers Shirt Dark Green
Nigel Cabourn Japan British Officers Shirt Dark Green, inspired by 1940s British Officer Shirts and famous for its "100 wash" testing.
The British Officers Cotton Shirt in Dark Green is inspired by a vintage 1940s British Officer's Shirt. The shirt features back darts and a slightly longer body length, meaning the fit is closer to a formal dress shirt. The specially developed Oxford fabric uses high-quality yarns, which are tightly woven making it extremely hard wearing whilst the unfinished quality of the fabric gives it a natural look.
A Nigel Cabourn classic, this British Officers Shirt has gone through extensive research in how to develop an almost perfect Oxford fabric and premium quality buttons. To ensure the shirt’s durability, a special product check institute in Japan has washed this shirt 100 times. Normally, brands do a wash test of 10-15 times. The result was that almost all tested shirts came out without stitches breaking, no fabric defaults nor buttons falling off. Even the fabric softness stayed intact.
A pretty amazing result, which will ensure a premium shirt with premium durability.
