In 2023 I had the pleasure to meet the artisan Per Den Boer, who specializes in luxurious knitwear and feltwear.

What makes her work unique is that she does every step of the garment making by hand. The felting of the wool, the knitting of the garments, the seam construction.

When I felt (pun intended) her wool pullovers, I was in awe. Some of the softest and compact knitted wools I have ever had the pleasure to touch and feel. Knowing that it is all handmade by one person in the Netherlands, adds an extra layer to the richness of this unique work.

Store Du Nord will showcase a limited selection of the work of Per Den Boer and, we will also play host to a LIVE KNITTING SESSION on Saturday the 19th of October, from 15:00 - 17:00h.
