"Omoto Denim was founded in 2025 by industry veteran Hiroki Kishimoto. Taking inspiration and techniques from the 19th century origins of denim jeans, Omoto Denim balances these 'Old World' styles with a modern view to how it is worn into the 21st century."
Hiroki Kishimoto has spent decades in the denim industry as as denim designer and fabric specialist, before launching his own brand Omoto Denim in 2025. Coined 'the man turned into a bird', taken from Japanese folklore, the work of Omoto Denim can be seen as new era, heritage inspired Japanese raw denim paving the way forward in how denim is used and worn today.
