rototo

Koryo, Japan

"Founded in 2014 by Daisuke Ishii, RoToTo socks are made in Koryo, Nara in Japan by using vintage knitting machines and meticulously blended yarns. Crafted by skilled artisans, focused on comfort and harmony."

Nara Prefecture in Japan is renowned for its sock production, thanks to a single machine brought over from the U.S.A. over 100 years ago. A craft tradition that they continue to this day. This is also the root origin of RoToTo, which has been making their widely appreciated knitted socks on these type of vintage machines since they started in 2014. By balancing traditional techniques and modern sensibility, RoToTo is able to develop some of the finest, durable and comfortable socks available.
