Motiv Pilgrimage Hoodie Wool Boucle Knit Sea, made from a thermal, felted wool material.

This substantial wool knit fabric is created with a special boucle yarn and has undergone a special shrunk finish to achieve an almost felt like appearance. This gives the fabric a highly tactile surface with great structural and insulating qualities, while the knitted nature of the fabric ensures sufficient stretch that makes it very forgiving to wear.

Design: A hooded sweatshirt design with vintage leather bonded details. The hood is designed and constructed in such a way that allows it to be worn as a shawl collar when open, as a stand collar when half closed and as a hood when zipped up.

Motiv is an independent design studio from Beijing specialising in original patterns from the 1900s-1950s and converting them into a more functional style and cut. They focus on Tradition for the Future, a neo-classic approach to creating garments. Motiv strictly sources their fabrics from the top level mills in England, Ireland, Belgium, France, China and Japan.
