This densely packed cotton sateen fabric, woven in Japan, boasts a luxurious sheen due to its construction and fineness. Its architectural structure and beautiful shrunk effect at the edges, after washing, further enhance its unique appeal.

Design: Easy trousers with a slightly outward curving and elongated silhouette. Inspired by military chino trousers, a small coin pocket is added to the right leg, the beltloops are doubled then bartacked, while the front fly is secured using a pair of riveted hooks.

Motiv is an independent design studio from Beijing specialising in original patterns from the 1900s-1950s and converting them into a more functional style and cut. They focus on Tradition for the Future, a neo-classic approach to creating garments. Motiv strictly sources their fabrics from the top level mills in England, Ireland, Belgium, France, China and Japan.
