Motiv Dinner Trackpants Lin/Silk/Wool Charbrown, an interesting mash-up of the well-known Tuxedo dinner trousers and classic trackpants. 

Developed with the best linen weavers in China, this classic sartorial recipe has been given a rugged twist, by using a delave linen in the warp and a combination of woollen yarn and tussah silk in the weft, this fabric develops a strong character after wash, while keeping elegant drape and shape.

Design: A cross-referencing between two types of pants with side stripes: men’s dinner trousers and track pants. The silk ribbed waist offers luxurious comfort while the grosgrain side stripe provides an air of elegance.

Motiv is an independent design studio from Beijing specialising in original patterns from the 1900s-1950s and converting them into a more functional style and cut. They focus on Tradition for the Future, a neo-classic approach to creating garments. Motiv strictly sources their fabrics from the top level mills in England, Ireland, Belgium, France, China and Japan.
