The legendary Japanese denim brand Momotaro Jeans brings you another one of their great heavy-hitters!

The 0906-SP style has a medium rise with a wide fitting on the upper and lower leg, making it a comfortable classic wide fit. Made from a sturdy Zimbabwean cotton in a 15.7oz weight, these raw denim jeans come with Momotaro’s signature pink selvedge ID and the white Going To Battle stripes.

This denim fabric is woven with Zimbabwean cotton which is known for its extremely high quality due to the long staple fibre. The raw denim material has been rope-dyed with indigo and develops a beautiful patina with wear and tear over time.

Please note that (raw) denim in (natural) indigo might bleed on light surfaces and textiles such as white sneakers or an off-white sofa. We advise you to turn the jeans inside out and soak it in a bucket with lukewarm water for 30 minutes, before the first actual wear. This way you rinse out a bit of leftover starch and indigo plus it takes out the final bits of shrinkage. The bleeding of indigo, as it is known as, is a characteristic of quality denim and will also occur during the early stages of wear.
