Hansen Garments Roman Eastern Jacket Black Gauze, a lightweight jacket inspired by Japanese noragi-styles, reinterpreted by Hansen Garments from Copenhagen.
ROMAN is an unconstructed and unlined collar- less jacket inspired by Japanese workwear. The cross over front is buttonless, fastened instead by tape ties. There are two side pockets and an inside pocket in fine cotton calico.
This very special fabric is a heavy gauze construction using thick 70% linen 30% cotton yarns in a four-ply warp and weft. The result is an open and supple fabric that is beautiful to wear yet surprisingly stable.
