Fullcount Jeans 2051 Wabash Chore Jacket Indigo, an early 1900s chore jacket from the legendary Osaka brand Fullcount.

A chore jacket with an early 1900s A-line silhouette that also has many tailor-made influences and touches. In addition to the irregular shaped pockets of the period, the material on the left hip pocket has been changed, and they've also added a ”change button” that can be removed before washing. These were not seen much after the 30s when washing machines began to replace washboards as the primary method of cleaning clothes. The material is an indigo-dyed ”Katsuragi” twill with screen printed wabash stripes in a star pattern.

The Japanese label Fullcount is one of the legendary "Osaka 5", a group of brands that propelled Japanese denim since the mid 1990s. Established in 1993 by Mikiharu Tsujita, Fullcount was actually the first Japanese jean brand to use Zimbabwean cotton to develop premium denim fabric.

Please note that (raw) denim in (natural) indigo might bleed on light surfaces and textiles such as white sneakers or an off-white sofa. We advise you to turn the jeans inside out and soak it in a bucket with cold water for 30 minutes, before the first actual wear. This way you rinse out a bit of leftover starch and indigo plus it takes out the final bits of shrinkage. The bleeding of indigo, as it is known as, is a characteristic of quality denim and will also occur during the early stages of wear.
