For those familiar with the evergreen Beaufort, the iconic hunting jacket from Barbour which was launched in the 80s, this Modified Beaufort Spectator opens up a new playing field.
Featuring an extended stormflap that wraps around the neck, and is also fully removable, gives additional closing options for those bitter, torrentuous rainshowers.
Made in a rip-stop waxed cotton, initially designed for military use in forest areas, it gives an even more robust look and feel to the Thornproof waxed cotton Barbour is known for.
The almost iconic rear game pocket from the original Beaufort returns, in a slightly smaller edition. Still ideal for putting away a book, spare bags or even a bottle of wine for your picknick. The sleeves of the Beaufort are adjustable with a snap button closing, and can also be turned up to show the Dress Gordon tartan. The fold-out dripstrip on the hem makes it ideal for soggy, foggy days out in the field.
