Japan Blue Sashiko Haori Indigo, unisex style traditional Haori jacket made from an indigo-dyed Sashiko cloth.

This unisex style Haori jacket by Japan Blue Jeans is made from a Sashiko-weave fabric, which is then dyed in indigo. The Sashiko fabric is reminiscent of traditional Japanese fabric styles, which has survived centuries and continues to be a staple fabric to this day. The Sashiko cloth gives great strength and durability and, due to the indigo dye, will develop a beautiful worn-in patina over time.
A Haori jacket is a traditional Japanese jacket normally worn over a kimono. In modern times, the Haori has evolved towards a Japanese jacket referencing both traditional and contemporary wear and is often worn as a short jacket or layering piece. The pattern is designed as a "one size" and covers sizes Small up to and including Large.

Please note that (raw) fabrics in (natural) indigo might bleed on light surfaces and textiles such as white sneakers or an off-white sofa. We advise you to turn the garment inside out and soak it in a bucket with cold water for 30 minutes, before the first actual wear. This way you rinse out a bit of the leftover indigo. The bleeding of indigo, as it is known as, is a characteristic of quality fabrics and will also occur during the early stages of wear.
