Together with a collection of artists from all around the globe, we reflect upon our society and how it influences everything we do and create. Hometown Journal is building a global community through conversations with artists. Since its debut in the summer of 2020, the Journal has released multiple episodes, evolving naturally with each edition. Every issue reinvents itself, drawing inspiration from past experiences and current impressions, while maintaining an exclusive circulation of just 800 copies. Each ad-free, bookish magazine is handmade in Germany and showcases a unique selection of paper stocks alongside a variety of innovative printing techniques. While their perspective shifts with each episode, Hometown Journal's mission remains the same: to explore how and why we create.

Recently, they began visiting artists in their studios to share their stories through short video clips. This initiative inspired Hometown Journal to expand into an online gallery, offering a platform to showcase and sell artwork. By leveraging their established network, they aim to support artists in reaching a wider audience and facilitating sales.

Based between Berlin and Lisbon, Hometown Journal is constantly on the move, seeking new stories and connections.
