Evan Kinori Field Shirt Undyed Wool Tweed Dark Beige, a lightweight yet thermal overshirt in wool tweed.

An over-shirt with french seams, cuff taper option, YKK metal tack buttons, slightly dropped chest pockets with hidden button closure, curved collar tips and an invisible placket.

This soft, lofty and unstructured woolen cloth features undyed wool sourced from New Zealand. The yarn was spun in the tweed style, mixing in random occuring flecks of varying shades of undyed wool. The cloth was woven in Ichinomiya, Japan.
This textured plain weave cloth was washed and tumbled to achieve a more raw feeling, natural finish before cutting into garments.

Evan Kinori is a American designer based in San Francisco, where is studio is based and the sampling and making of garments happens. I've been following Evan since he started out in 2015 and, in fact, I still have a copy of his very first newsletter in my inbox. Evan's calm approach to garment design and his overall feel for esthetics resonate deeply with my own views and values. His focus and dedication to designing a small, almost intimate, collection of versatile and functional pieces, are a pleasant shift away from modern-day bulk productions and ongoing collection cycles. If I were to choose one word that would describe Evan Kinori and his work, it would be: stillness.
