Barbour Beaufort Wax Jacket Archive Olive, one of the famous icons of Barbour. Initially designed as a hunting jacket, hence the poacher’s pocket at the back, the Beaufort has become a staple in menswear outdoor coats.

A menswear icon on its own, the Barbour Beaufort Wax Jacket in Archive Olive, which is one of the most sought-after colors of Barbour. Made from a solid 6oz. weatherproof waxed cotton known as Thornproof, which has a high water repellency.
Whether you want to go for a classic look or give a rugged look to your work attire, the Beaufort caters to all needs.

Designed by Dame Margaret Barbour in 1983, the Beaufort Wax Jacket has become a staple with Barbour aficionados around the world. A functional and stylish coat to wear year-round, the Beaufort comes with some interesting features that have their origin in French hunting jackets which inspired Dame Margaret Barbour greatly.
The almost iconic rear game pocket, lined with a wipe-clean Nylon, which is ideal for putting away a book, spare bags or even a bottle of wine for your picknick. The sleeves of the Beaufort are cut shorter than you might be used to, but for a reason. For hunting, you'd want your wrist to have freedom of movement and not get in the way. A bit similar to how chore coats are cut, making it more functional.
The slightly longer length of the jacket makes it easy to pair with a suit jacket.
