Motiv Wanderer Jacket Tweed Forest, the ultimate travel jacket in a Scottish Tweed.
A performance tweed made by Scottish mill Lovat, the tactile surface of the fabric is created by twisting a worsted yarn on a woolen one, the different tension on the two yarns create a granular surface during the finishing process. The cheviot yarns used gives the fabric great insulation as well as extraordinary anti abrasion properties.
Design: Motiv’s latest interpretation of the ultimate travel jacket. The jacket is cut with single breasted peak lapel with especially high button stance to give it a sporty appearance. Two bellow pockets, one chest pocket, a zipped passport pocket, two internal chest pockets and two large “poacher‘s” pocket at the hem provide infinite storage possibilities while on the road.
Motiv is an independent design studio from Beijing specialising in original patterns from the 1900s-1950s and converting them into a more functional style and cut. They focus on Tradition for the Future, a neo-classic approach to creating garments. Motiv strictly sources their fabrics from the top level mills in England, Ireland, Belgium, France, China and Japan.
