Classic cotton workwear fabric produced by expert makers in Japan. This time we selected a 2 on 2 hopsack weave, which in addition to holding great shape, is more breathable than the common twill due to its plain structure.
Design: Proper trousers featuring four inverted pleats, single jetted pockets and continuous or “Hollywood” waistband. This pair of high rise trousers cuts a clean silhouette while providing able room in the hip area for movement. The extra long hem allowance can be turned up into a proper cuff.
Motiv is an independent design studio from Beijing specialising in original patterns from the 1900s-1950s and converting them into a more functional style and cut.
