British traditional mill Marling & Evans’ hallmark natural wool quality, this time in a seasonal open plain weave. The high twist worsted yarn gives the fabric a lot of structure as well as excellent wrinkle resistance. The subtle windowpane pattern is the result of selecting different shades of undyed wool, hence the charming, slightly heathered effect.
Proper trousers featuring four inverted pleats, traditional curved jetted pockets and continuous or “Hollywood” waistband. This pair of high rise trousers cuts a clean silhouette while providing ample room in the hip area for movement.
Motiv is an independent design studio from Beijing specialising in original patterns from the 1900s-1950s and converting them into a more functional style and cut.
