Sashiko Repair Workshop at Store Du Nord!

In our new collaboration with renowned repair artist Pey., a.k.a. Sashikodenim on social media, Store Du Nord is excited to host a special Sashiko Repair Workshop where you will learn the skill from the master himself.

Sashiko Repair is an ancient Japanese mending technique, which was used to repair a heavily-worn garment and extend its lifespan. This typical technique of repair takes patience, commitment and understanding of the why’s and how’s of Japanese culture and sustainability in general.

We have 5 spots open for this workshop, which will take place on Sunday, April 30th at Store Du Nord, from 11:00 till 13:00.
For the registration we ask €30,00 for the time spent with repair artist Pey., and this also includes a Sashiko Repair kit including Sashiko needles, Sashiko thread and fabric patches.
This fee is to be paid at Store Du Nord on the day of the workshop.

Store Du Nord will arrange food & drinks for the event, you just bring a joyful energy and dedication.
